Gigs

"Nelly Sandiia has performed in various situations from being a soloist with choir to a private enterprise party in Lahti. From a small scale acoustic performances to working with a large rock'n'roll band. Rock and folk-influenced rock are her personal favourites but she has no trouble adapting to other styles and situations.

So why swaying around instead of focusing in a certain style?
-Why not, she says, a little change every now and then is very refreshing."
For example during 2006-2008 I was the lead singer of a rock and blues band called Hamilton Jones, but of course my moving to Lahti made the co-operation a bit harder due to long distance between Lahti and Ikaalinen where the rest of the band is. Hamilton Jones plays songs from bands and artists like CCR, SRV, B.B. King, Van Morrison and so forth.


Year 2009 we had this acoustic duo, and I was with opera choir making Carmina Burana. Now there is time to find something new of course, and who knows what's going to happend. I hope to find my own band of course, or maybe two :) But we'll see.
